All of our courses are approved for Maryland Real Estate Continuing Education.

They consist of online reading material with short quizzes and a final exam at the end of each course (all multiple choice).

The final exam score for Maryland must be at least 70%. Any quizzes/exams can be retaken immediately if necessary.

After completing the course(s):

  • Complete and sign a Student Affidavit Statement
  • Fax the completed Student Affidavit to 410- 282-6408

SCHOOL INFORMATION

The mission of Chesapeake Residential School of Real Estate is to provide high-quality distance education courses to real estate licensees and licensee candidates.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The course are offered to licensees to enhance their professionalism, thereby fostering the protection of the public, by:

… acquiring new knowledge, skills, and abilities relevant to the conduct of their duties,
… refreshing their knowledge of core principles and practices,
… advancing their knowledge of selected advanced topics, and
… acquiring updated knowledge of content topics that change over time


The acquisition of this information is provided in the context of and educational methodology that insures that the material is:

… understood at a conceptual level,
… able to be used in a fluent manner by the learner, and
… able to be applied to practical situations.


Finally, the courses are designed to document the attainment of mastery and evaluated objectively.

REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETING THE COURSE

* All courses must be completed within six months from date of purchase.

* Since these courses are independent study, no classroom attendance is required.

* You must sign, date and return a "Certification Statement" to the school before you can receive credit for your course

This statement certifies you have personally completed each lesson of instruction and that you have not provided any aspect of the course to others.

*To complete the course and receive your Education Certification, you must successfully complete the following requirements:

** Complete ALL computer modules online by passing module quizzes

** Pass the appropriate course final examination.

** Return your "Certification Statement" to Chesapeake Residential School of Real Estate by fax, or email.

GRADING

You are required to complete all lessons on the computer until the computer marks them complete. Most all courses require chapter quizzes and a final exam. By Regulation a passing grade of 70% or higher is required.

CERTIFICATION

Upon completion of a course, you will receive a certificate of completion.

Your certificate will be e-mailed to you.

In the event the certificate is lost, a duplicate may be obtained from Chesapeake Residential School of Real Estate offices by written request.

An administrative fee of $15.00 will be charged for the duplicate certificates.

SCHOOL RECORDS

Chesapeake Residential School of Real Esate will maintain for a period of five years, the following information in each student record: The student's name, address, license and social security number, date of enrollment, course title, and records reflecting attendance and scores earned on all graded materials and examinations.

RECRUITING

No recruiting for employment opportunities for any real estate brokerage firm is allowed in this class or on the school premises. Report promptly any effort to recruit by anyone to Chesapeake Residential School of Real Estate School Director at 443-801-8000

NON DISCRIMINATION 

Chesapeake Residential  School of Real Estate will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, familial, or handicap status in the establishment of fees, entrance qualifications or standards for successful completion of any course



REFUNDS

No refunds will be given unless there are un-resolvable technological issues.

No refunds will be given under any circumstances if the course has been completed

A 30 day Extension period can be arranged for an additional fee.
